The beautiful ballgown has never gone out of fashion for weddings, after all if your wedding day isn’t the day to dress up like a princess, we don’t know what is! If you are looking for a ballgown for your 2021/22 wedding, then you can’t miss this article! Let us take you through the latest trends hot off the catwalk…

Dalia, style 69564. Our couture look for this season is the dazzling Dalia. Made of luscious floral and wine themed lace over a heavily sequined sparkle tulle with a chic satin waist belt. Shown here is ivory/light gold, she is also available in ivory/ivory for a more classic look.

If the Cinderella look is what you are looking to achieve, then look no further than Dulia, style 69559. A true princess ballgown Dulia is made of flowing organdie fabric with an all over pearl embellished bodice and beaded spaghetti straps. We cannot wait to see real brides in this gown!

Combining a boho feel through vine lace with the classic ballgown silhouette is Veronica, style 18507. We love the delicate ruched straps complimenting the stylish v neckline and matching v back. The icing on the cake is the attached beaded waist belt for a touch of sparkle.

This season’s hottest trend is the plain and simple look. With weddings becoming smaller and more intimate we are finding brides opting for the less is more look. Doreen, style 69583, got a lot of love on Instagram in our recent post and you can see why! An understated princess ballgown with little fuss, alluring off the shoulder straps, a classic bridal sweetheart neckline and a simple sparkle belt – what is not to love?

Another plain and simple look for this season is our floaty chiffon ballgown Dawn, 69551. Made of ruched sweeping organdie with on-trend off-the-shoulder sleeves. A gown that really speaks for itself! We would pair this gown with some simple pearl earrings – no sparkle needed. You could even add a corsage for a touch of colour to tie in with your wedding party, or in Scotland we would love to see a belt or wrap made of tartan!

If sparkle is totally you, you must see Francina, style 69612. Our organza and glitter tulle princess gown with a lace and jewel encrusted bodice. Francina has both pearl and sparkle crystal beading so your accessories can contain either – or both! This gown comes with a modesty bodice so you can choose between the sheer or more covered look, or even swap to change your look from daytime to evening.
